This series addresses the relationship of select professions, disciplines and fields to Interdisciplinary Ontology. Though oriented towards enriching a variety of professions, much of the first volume is purposed to help college students ONBOARD amidst the intellectual, pedagogical and social struggles parading on modern college campuses!
You students are the future and for many reasons a major priority! Especially when writing the Preface of Volume I, I did my best to put myself in the shoes of minds and personalities sensitive to various kinds of upsetting dynamics and oppression. put myself in the shoes of students troubled by the problems found in contemporary academic pedagogy and politics as described in the perils of the fictitious, but all too real drama of “Portuguese man-of-war University”.
Other categories of readers such as educators and scientists with an interdisciplinary orientation will certainly want to read Volume I to learn underlying theories and their components described in a Compendium Glossary that will prepare you for a more engaging experience with volumes planned for the future.
Volume I: Ontological Modeling is a very worthwhile read! For epistemological reasons, orient yourself as a college student when you read the first volume. Don’t miss comprehensive constructs such as the “Five Domains of Being” and “Three Essence Theory”. These paradigms layer the foundation for the expansive content of new volumes.
